Golf Coaching Staff Information

Head Coach:  Collin Snyder

Crofton High School is excited to announce the hiring of Collin Snyder as head coach of the golf program. Coach Snyder is a 2010 graduate of Arundel High School and a 2015 graduate of Towson University.

Coach Snyder led the Old Mill High School golf team to the B Division title in his rookie season after spending the 2018 season as an assistant.  Crofton High School Athletic Director Jeff Martin stated, “I am excited to welcome Coach Snyder to lead the golf program.  He did a great job leading the Old Mill team and works extremely hard to motivate his players to improve in all aspects of the game.”

Coach Snyder, who is also the Crofton High School head men’s lacrosse coach, is excited to get the Cardinal Golf team off to a great start in their inaugural season.  “It is a dream come true to help build a culture from the ground up,” said Snyder.

Assistant Coach:  Tyler Balderson
Tyler Balderson has been coaching in the GORC youth program for over 10 years.  Coach Balderson’s passion for golf began while attending Virginia Tech in Blacksburg Va, he has competed in amateur events all over the country. Coach Balderson currently lives in Crofton Maryland with his wife and 3 children and has been active with the Crofton Country Club golf program since joining in 2014. He is a single digit handicap and specializes in the short game, putting and course management.
